Halona Cove is where they filmed the 1953 film From Here to Eternity. It's a small cove right next to the Halona Blowhole, where water sprays up through an opening on the lava rock. The Halona beach area is on Kalanianole Highway (72) between Makapu'u Point and Koko Head and features a great lookout point toward the vast Pacific. A small parking lot accommodates visitors. Even Transportation Secretary, Ray LaHood, admitted that it took the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) longer than it should have.
But now the 15 months spent crafting a plan to lessen pilots’ flying hours, thus reducing the dangers of pilot fatigue, are about to become a reality.
The rules, which were announced a couple of days ago, will make it mandatory for pilots to have 9 hours of rest between work days, instead of the cur

With free admission, a scenic lake, picnic areas, walking trails and weekend campsites, Ho'omaluhia garden is not only a boon for locals, but also for tourists. Yes it does, thank you very much. Read on as I introduce you to an incredibly unique 2-day wine tasting trip—Ojai Style.

Ryanair started charging for checked luggage before American Airlines, but blame American for having made nickel-and-diming safe for other U.S.-based carriers. Today all the major U.S. carriers – Delta, Continental, United, U.S. Airlines – charge $25* for the first checked bag on domestic flights and $35 for the second (checking in online only saves a couple of dollars). She’s left me.
And to top that she’s locked me in her bedroom closet.
I love her, as much as someone like me can, and I’m used to it so – don’t think I’m hurt. It’s just that I’m bored and,
I suppose, angry that she hasn’t traveled lately and that means I haven’t gone

Before the move we thought about it a lot and planned even more but nothing could quite prepare us for the reality we would face, Lisa and I.
The dream started decades ago on a vacation in Las Vegas with our then infant first child Sydney. I remember focusing my eyes on a stand of palms the last day of that vaca
