The Seychelles International Airport officially opened on the 20th March 1972 with the official ceremony being carried out by her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II. However, interesting to note well before this on the 17th June 1939 a flying boat called GUBA 11 has flown to the Seychelles under its own steam.
The Seychelles International Airport continued to grow and more aircraft's landed on the island of Mahe to discover the Seychelles. On the 4t

Men and women are different. Who dares argue the point?
So it’s no surprise that we now know they travel differently, seeking different travel experiences.
A USA Today article “Where the Boys are Not,” reports that 88% of women surveyed said they had plans for a no-men-allowed getaway.
And these are not Desperate Housewives either!
To accommodate women travelers, many hotels offer separate wings for women, and special amenities in women-o
I have a tale of two cities to share with you. This is a tale of a city by the sea and at the same time a city that stretches into gentle foothills and rugged mountains. A city whose reputation is built on fine wines, culinary greatness, and adventure- based activities that range from the urban divine, to the salty ocean, to the rolling mountains. You might come for the Pinot as I did, but you’ll leave touched by the style and grace of a user-friendly community that is at the top of its game.

The bedbugs keep biting, and the reputations and pocketbooks of hotels and inns are getting infected.
A couple of months ago we did a “trending spotting” piece on bedbugs, and the fact they were driving travelers and hotels management mad.
Now bedbug mania is front page, main stream news, with the Boston Globe headlining a piece on the critters.
The pests have an uncanny ability to hide in mattresses and crevices in bed coverings. They’re also amazingly adept travelers, hitching ri
Once considered as a beach resort paradise with approximately 3500km of coast line dotted with palm trees and covered with white sand, West Africa has seen a steady decline in traditional tourists over the past few years. Now there seems to be a renewal of interest and tourists are beginning to trickle back to the hustle and bustle of the colourful markets, the relaxing sound of the Atlantic waves crashing on a pristine beach or to the exhilarating beat of the Jembe and talking drum.

It is almost certain that many of these travelers are from the global gay and lesbian community. The capital city of Buenos Aires is the number one popular destination in Argentina and recently it has been dubbed the new “gay mecca” of South America. So it seems approp

(TTBS) Even though I am a travel agent specializing in Disney vacations, I still get asked why we chose to vacation on the Disney Mediterranean cruise. Isn't the answer, "Well, duh!" But seriously, I love my job and someones gotta do the research, right? It's tough,I know, but I'm willing to take on the challenge.
So since I get asked this question, I thought I would come up with my 10

“Female Eggs For Sale” may not be a sign you’ll see any time soon, but for all intents and purposes that’s what the global market for harvesting and selling women’s eggs is all about.
The in vitro fertilization market is a billion dollar industry that touches almost every country in the world. It touches the wealthy neighborhoods of London and reaches into the Americas, Asia and the IVF capital of the world, Cyprus, which has more fertility clinics than any other country in the wor

The famous Follies Bergère cabaret of Paris led the way in risqué entertainment in the late nineteenth century. In England “The Full Monty” became a household expression in the 1990s. But today in Buenos Aires one of the renowned main attractions for tourists and locals alike is the dinner and dance at INSIDE RestoBar. This is where, during dinner, the dance is not Tango but rather it refers to some hot, Latin male performers who slowly peel off all their attire with audience partici

(TTBS) The sun was shining, the sky a beautiful cloudless bright blue as we pulled out of our luxury accommodations in Avon, Colorado. The front that had caused the snow showers had finally pulled out of the area, temperatures were raising and clear weather was predicted for the next few days. We headed to Moab, Utah to camp in the beautiful desert near Arches National Park.
Expecting chilly evenings, we made one more stop for camping equipment. In the camping sec
(TTBS) It’s not that a night spent in the Serengeti bush is any longer than a typical night somewhere else – but when your tent is sandwiched in Kenya between the Maasai village cows and a pride of hungry lions – it certainly seems that way!
At first I wasn’t sure exactly why my eyes popped open. The clouds from the beginning of the rainy season had stayed close, so the night was a shroud of mist and inky darkness. I sat up and strained to see through the screen of the tent flap – the only window

It didn’t take long.
In fact it took two minutes for a judge in Rome, Italy, to throw out of court a complaint by a mother, that a 26-year old bathing beauty was “committing obscene acts in a public place.”
The mother claimed the busty bathing beauty’s bare breasts “troubled” her two sons, ages 12 and 14, especially when the topless bather was in the act of rubbing suntan lotion on her bosoms.
The Telegraph.co.uk reported that a row between the two wome

TTBS After living half a century in Kansas we moved here to Orlando five years ago. It was to be the fulfillment of a long-held dream to live among the palm trees and year-round sunshine. Before the move we thought about it a lot and planned even more but nothing could quite prepare us for the reality we would face, Lisa and I.
The dream started decades ago on a vacation in Las Vegas with our then infant first child Sydney. I remember focusing my eyes on a stand of palms the last day of that vaca
