A funny thing happened on the way to the movies.

Forty million international movie-goers opted to travel to a place where a movie they loved was shot.
Travel Daily News (TDN) reports that these travelers made their travel plans and chose their destinations based on a movie they saw in 2012. Obviously, as TDN says, filming in a destination is "clearly a very efficient driver for attracting new visitors."

Makes sense. As Mashable reported, old Hollywood had its star system and magazines. New mov

Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Bago Division, Myanmar

9008750469?profile=original

The Shwemawdaw Pagoda (also written Shwemawdaw Paya) in Bago is the tallest pagoda in Myanmar. The Shwemawdaw is 14 m higher than the Shwedagon of Yangon. The name Shwemawdaw means Great Golden God
. The Shwemawdaw can be seen from as far as 10 km outside the city, a fact which I could verify when I saw the Shwemawdaw from the window of the train for a long, long while, as we travelled passed Bago from Yangon to Mandalay.

According to legend, the Shwemawdaw was built by two merchant brothers,

Algodon-exterior-1-600x400.jpg

If you want to step back in time and experience a sophisticated slice of the Argentinean life, a part of Buenos Aires bygone era, simply slip in to the regal neighborhood of Recoleta. The largely residential neighborhood hit its stride at the end of the 19th century and in to the roar of the 1920’s when the architectural boom caused the construction of a number of chateau-like residences built that were reminiscent of those in the Loire valley in France. Everything from fixtures to chandeliers,

Historic house becomes tourist destination

In recent years, the house owned by Huynh Thuy near Tien River in Sa Dec in Dong Thap Province has become a popular destination for both domestic and foreign tourists.

The house is famous for its unique architecture which is the harmonious combination of Vietnamese, French and Chinese styles. It is the place that witnessed the romantic love between Marguerite Duras, a well-known French writer, and Huynh Thuy Le, the son of the Huynh Family who is the house’s owner.

Tantric Yoga is kind of touchy.

The ancient Hindu practice gets a lot of press for its sexual image. However, if you delve deeper than the popular hype, you find that the 1,600-year-old ritual is not concerned with sexuality, but rather the goal of Tantric Yoga is to awaken and harmonize the male and female aspects within each person on a spiritual level, according to Yoga World.

There are so many different elements and schools of thought on Tantric Yoga that I started researching and was quickly

And like these other genres, even those who look back fondly at the age of sharp shooters in dusty saloons remember the films not so much for their artistic merit as for the joy they brought to a whole generation of young movie fans.
