I love my husband and we are truly best friends but when we get into one of our arguments about something meaningless in a “drive me crazy” kind of way; I need to head for the hills.

Let me clarify:

I need a “Marriage Travel Time Out”.

I need to take a trip somewhere far and away from everything that relates to my routine life and get to know myself a little better as one instead of two.

Many of our friends have split up and it’s confusing and complicated. It’s hurtful and it’s life changing and th

I usually travel on my own to the Keys, but this time, I was invited on a very lovely press trip with fellow bloggers.  Typically, I spend time on Duval Street, checking out restaurants, music, bars, museums and visiting Fort Zachary Taylor beach -- just a few of my favorite things to do in the lower Keys. But this time, I never left The Reach or Casa Marina resorts and for some very good reasons! It was utterly romantic and relaxing at this time of year.

There was also a delicious meal at The

“Honey, I still don’t see any action in the restaurant!”

We were sitting on the balcony of our hotel high above the Adriatic with a view directly into a large, empty, open-air restaurant built in a cave which was also high above the crashing surf.
