As the cradle of Christianity, the Old Continent’s history with Easter is millennia old. And though recently it has evolved from a merely religious observance to an secular cultural (even pop cultural) phenomenon, the mix of elaborate religious pageantry and modern developments like bunnies, chicks, and Easter eggs is quite something to experience during Easter week. Here are a half dozen of my favorites:

Today on Bastille Day, one of France’s most important national observances, let me take you to the chunk of real estate where it all began. Named for the infamous medieval prison whose storming on this date in 1789 was a key mome

Luggage is your problem to get In abd off the trains so pack light. We didn't lol but its ok. We made it work. Btw. Most tube stations gave stairs 10 to 32 steps per stair well. Toledo, Spain.

From 712 to 1085 the Spanish city Toledo–now one of the most visited tourist cities of Spain–belonged to the Moors, who called it Tulaytula. By that time, Europe had slowly forgotten all the achievements of the Greeks and Romans, having deteriorated into some muddy backwater of overall illiteracy and grubbiness, but the Arab world kept rapidly developing. Nowadays it’s hard to imagine that back then science prospered in Bagdad, Cairo, Cordoba, and Toledo, rather than in Rome, London, or Paris.

Art Hotels in Paris

It is more and more difficult to find nice hotels in Paris. Of course you have plenty of hotels but some are not well managed with unpleasant receptionists, some are well located but not as clean they should be and some others are too much expensive .

I sent one of my friend, Laeticia, to the hotel Art Hotel Congres, located 44 rue Gauthey (17th district). She called me one day and said to me, would you be nice to help me; I need a room from tonight for my husband, my son (2 years old) and pleas
