The raw, untamed wilderness of Zimbabwe beckons adventurous travelers seeking thrilling safari experiences. From steamy jungles to sweeping savannas, this southeast African country´s diverse landscapes provide habitats for an astounding array of
wildlife, so get ready to come practically face to face with the “Big Five” - lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffaloes - as well as getting have your breath taken away by sights such as thundering Victoria Falls. As one of Africa’s top safari destinations, Zimbabwe offers once-in-a-lifetime encounters to create lasting memories, whether you visit independently (or better yet, with skilled safari operators like Falcon Safaris, in order to maximize your experience).

Gonarezhou National Park

Down in the southeast well off the tourist track, the country’s second largest reserve (second photo below) holds 5,053 square kilometers (1,951 sq. miles) of nearly untouched wilderness, its rugged terrain including the 180-meter-high (590-foot) sandstone Chilojo Cliffs running for around 20km (more than 12 mi.) along the Runde River. Wildlife includes Cape buffalo, Cape dogs, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, hyenas, leopards, lions, rhinos (both black and white), wildebeest, and zebras. You can visit on self-drive and guided safaris as well a camp overnight.

Hwange National Park

Zim's largest national park (14,600 square kilometers/5,637 square miles) is uncrowded, and known for its elephants but is also home to the rest of the "Big Five" (buffalo, leopards, lions, and rhinos). On top of that you'll also spot antelope, cheetahs, crocodiles, hyenas, wild dogs, zebras, and more. A guaranteed safari bonzanza! It´s located in the northwest, is a nine-hour drive from Harare (or 4½ hours if you fly to Victoria Falls, just under three hours away, then drive) and four hours from Bulawayo.

Mana Pools National Park

On the Zambezi River at Zim´s northern tip, you can get a hippo’s eye view of this 2,196
km² (848-sq.-mi.) UNESCO World Heritage Site (top) by canoeing between its islands and sandbanks. Launching your vessel from the riverbanks, glide silently through golden mornings, the calls of fish eagles and grunts of hippos announcing another perfect day in "Africa’s Eden." The park is also home to antelope, buffalo, elephants, leopards, lions, painted dogs, and some 380 bird species. It´s a seven-to eight-hour drive from Harare, which can be shortened by flying.

Matobo National Park

In this 424km² (164-sq.-mi.) swath in the southwest, an hour and a half from Bulawayo, bizarre domes of granite dominate the scenery. As you bounce over dirt tracks in open
4x4s, the rich diversity of wildlife reveal themselves before your eyes. Watch herds of zebra grazing between balancing rocks. Scan the treeline for elusive leopards and black rhinos, indigenous to Zimbabwe, as well as antelopes, giraffes, hyenas, hippos, impalas, ostriches, and zebras (plus among its myriad bird species is the world´s highest concentration of black eagles). And in cool dark caves, discover Bushman rock art, hidden for thousands of years until now.

Victoria Falls

Way out east on the border with Zambia, majestic, also UNESCO World Heritage Vic Falls (above) is a nearly 11-hour drive or two hour flight from Harare. However you choose to arrive, its thunderous roar will welcome you. Peer over the precipice shrouded in mist, as the Zambezi (here more than 5,600 feet wide) hurtles 354 feet into the narrow Batoka Gorge below, creating the world’s largest sheet of falling water. Take a dip where a tranquil rock pool swirls at the lip of the Falls - or if you’re feeling brave, try bungee jumping into the abyss itself!

Safari Adventures For Lifelong Memories

Safari days start before the dawn breaks, climbing into open-top 4x4s fitted with amber spotlights. Your experienced safari guide will read animal tracks in the fine dust, skillfully negotiating the terrain while you scan the scrub for any signs of movement. When wildlife is spotted, take photos galore, making every early morning and late night drive unique.

Walking safaris move at a gentler pace, the soft crunch of footsteps across the bushveld filling the silence. Crouching low, inspect a porcupine’s spiny quill lying on the path, or catch the skittish dart of a colorful lizard between granite boulders. Stop for coffee brewed over crackling campfires, swapping stories with your guide about their past Wildlife Authority patrols.

Spot colossal Nile crocodiles basking on sunny riverbanks from the cool tranquility of a canoe safari. Trust your expert guide to safely navigate you through channels thick with hippos, as fish eagle screams echo across the water. Glide past submerged elephants with just their trunks peeping out like snorkels - an experience to imprint on your memory forever.

Cultural Connections with Zimbabwean Communities

Many of these safari expeditions include the opportunity for deep cultural connections, learning about distinctive local lifestyles, arts and traditions of the Shona (70 percent of the population), Ndebele (20 percent), and other ethnic groups. Spend an evening around a dancing fire in a rural village, marveling at thrilling traditional dances and hospitality. Tour vibrant local sculpture gardens, uncover ancient bushman cave paintings, or learn to play the distinctive mbira instrument with a master musician. Whether it’s appreciating stunning traditional textiles or grasping the symbolism of ceremonial masks - through cultural experiences, differences dissolve into the joy of our shared humanity.

Plan Your Bespoke Zimbabwean Safari

Zimbabwe rewards visitors year-round. For best wildlife viewing, target the drier months between April and October. Between November and March, the rainy season may deter some, but those who venture out then are rewarded with lush landscapes and excellent birdwatching, and largely without crowds.

Choose between rustic tents, adventurous campsites or lavish safari lodges to match your style and budget. Whether enjoying sweeping savannas from a secluded wooden deck, or dozing inside an expansive walk-in tent, your base will provide superb comfort. Don't forget to pre-book your domestic flights, and stock up on suitable clothing, binoculars, and reference books before your trip.

And remember, responsible wildlife viewing, supporting local jobs, crafts and conservation projects all ensure your memories are infused with soul and purpose, so be sure to read up on tourism guidelines for each park and always approach the wildlife, landscapes, and local people with respect.

12742796479?profile=RESIZE_710xSandals Grande St. Lucian

Based in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the famous Caribbean resort chain founded in 1981 by legendary Jamaican entrepreneur Gordon "Butch" Stewart was instrumental in pioneering the "all-inclusive" concept - paying one (usually very attractive) rate to cover all food and drink as well as many activities and amenities, in addition to just a room. Sandals properties now number 18 on eight islands, and they´re especially popular with (and indeed, marketed to) couples and especially honeymooning couples. You can get a full rundown of all the properties here, but in the meantime, here are our picks for the top three Sandals choices for a romantic honeymoon:

Sandals Grande St. Lucian

On Pigeon Island linked by causeway to the town of Gros Islet on the northwest coast´s Rodney Bay, this 301-unit property is regularly described by guests as "the vacation spot that comes closest to a picture-perfect postcard." It's also the place to go if you've always wanted to stay in a romantic over-the-water bungalow, of which there are a dozen (top), decked out in Tahitian style and offering perks such as glass floor panels, soaking tubs right out on your deck, and private butler service. Among other resort amenities are five pools; the Caribbean-inspired Red Lane Spa; a state-of-the-art fitness center; tennis courts; a raft of water sports from paddleboarding to scuba diving; nightly entertainment; and  a dozen restaurants including not just Caribbean but also British pub fare, French, Indian, Italian, Japanese, and others. And thanks to Sandals´ "stay at one, play at three" policy, Grande St. Lucian guests can avail themselves of all the facilities of two other resorts within easy driving distance (with all transfers also included), the Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Club and Sandals St. Lucia Golf & Country Club at Cap Estate; these include 15 other restaurants; a half dozen more pools; and a pair of beautiful beaches nine-hole golf courses (greens fees also included).

12741185473?profile=RESIZE_710xSandals Grenada

Sandals Grenada Resort & Spa

Located on 17 acres astride fabled Pink Gin Beach, near the island´s southwestern tip some 20 minutes south of capital St. George´s, this smaller property has 150 rooms and 75 suites divided into 22 types, ranging from simple doubles to swim-up pool apartments, rondovals (rounded/oval shaped, with conical roofs), and "skypool suites" - the upper end of which come with a private butler - and divided into four "villages": Italian, Lovers´ Hideaway, Pink Gin, and South Seas. There are no fewer than ten dining options, including Japanese, Italian, French, British pub fare, and a steakhouse with an international reputation. Other key amenities: five pools, a pair of whirlpools, a half dozen bars, tennis courts, and the Red Lane spa. Oh, and another cool - and romantic - feature they love to tout is their "living room in the middle of a beachfront pool" (above).

12742826273?profile=RESIZE_710xSandals Royal Plantation

Sandals Royal Plantation, Jamaica

One of seven Jamaica Sandals properties, this even more intimate resort in Ocho Rios is a romantic favorite because although it offers fewer amenities - just one pool and five (!) restaurants, along with a fitness center, Red Lane Spa, and a Champagne-and-caviar bar unique in Jamaica, for example - its luxurious "boutique inn" feel appeals to couples, with just 74 oceanview suites (all with private butler service) on ten peaceful acres, adding up to what we found to be the the most beautiful and tranquil of any Sandals resorts. As soon as the beach opened at 10, a server brought drinks and continued to attend to our every need throughout the day. At the same time, guests also have access to all facilities at Sandals´ nearby Upton Estate Golf & Country Club (including transportation and green fees) and the 98-villa Ochi Beach Resort.

This rocky headland on the Atlantic coast of the Cape Peninsula, about an hour and a half south of Cape Town, is a popular spot for visitors to the Mother City, especially for its beautiful scenery and compelling wildlife (it´s also part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Cape Floral Region). And here´s a look at the top attractions at the Cape of Good Hope, nearby False Bay, and on the peninsula in general:

12676047254?profile=RESIZE_710xPeter Chovanec

Simon´s Town

On the eastern shore of False Bay and the Cape Peninsula, with a population of around 6,600, this charming, 344-year-old town has a great little selection of restaurants and cute places to stay, along with the Simon's Town Museum and South African Naval Museum; nearby activities such as sea kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, diving, and fishing (more about that below); and of course...

12676048696?profile=RESIZE_710xOIga Ernst

Boulders Beach

Just several minutes´ drive (or a walk of 20 minutes or so) south of Simon's Town and named for the large granite boulders which shield it from the open ocean, this strand's placid waters and soft white sand are great for families. But its main attraction by far is the chance to get up close and personal with its colony of throughly adorable African penguins - close, but without actually touching them, of course. You'll definitely want to smuggle one home!

12676051701?profile=RESIZE_710xAnimalia.bio

Cape Point Nature Reserve

The heart of the Cape of Good Hope is the reserve which lies at Africa´s southwesternmost points (the actual southernmost is Cape Agulhas, some 200 kilometers away on the Garden Route), with craggy  cliffs, spectacular seascapes, and pristine beaches. It offers eco/adventure activities like hiking, biking/e-biking, swimming, surfing, and whale/dolphin watching. You can also of course walk right out to the Cape itself, plus while on your hikes (either on your own or hiring a guide), you might also spot some local wildlife, including seals, otters, baboons (watch out, they might even steal your stuff!), ostriches, several species of antelope, and most charmingly, the diminutive Cape Mountain zebras (above).

Other attractions/amenities a cable car up the back side of Table Mountain for - naturally - breathtaking views over the whole area and out to sea (the reserve is actually part of Table Mountain National Park); visits to a pair of lighthouses, the old one dating to 1859, with some historical displays and a couple of eateries, and the "new" one (built in 1918), reachable on foot or via a short funicular; the Two Oceans Restaurant; a couple of curio/gift shops; and a trio of self-catering cottages for overnight stays.

Champan's Peak Drive

Running between the towns of Noordhoek and Hout Bay, "Chappies" is one of the world´s more scenic routes, enjoy the beautiful scenery and observe different types of wildlife, including seals, dolphins, whales, and penguins. There are also many great viewpoints along Champan's Drive where visitors can take in the amazing ocean views before continuing their journey. Pro tip: Stop off along the way at the lookout points for amazing photography opportunities.

Platboom Beach

Located within the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve just north of the cape and a half hour south of Simon´s Town, this wild, spectacular, nearly deserted beach runs 2.5 kilometers (about a mile and a half) and boasts pure white sand kicky surf popular with windsurfers and kitesurfers who brave the icy waters, and you´ll also spot wildlife wandering nearby, including antelopes, ostriches, and even baboons.

Gifkommetjie Trail

This is a 10.6km round-trip hike which is considered easy to moderate and takes you through the seaside village of Gifkommetjie and past some beautiful lagoons in about 2½ hours. This is a great activity for families as it's not too strenuous and there are plenty of places to stop and rest along the way. The trail also offers stunning views of the surrounding area, so be sure to bring your camera! Pro tip: Take a small packed lunch for everyone if you think you will be hitting hiking around lunchtime.

Fabulous Fishing

The waters around the Cape Peninsula are home to a variety of fish including bluefin and yellowfin tuna, Cape snoek, white steenbras, Atlantic bonito, Cape bream (aka hottentots), and red roman, and it´s recommendable to hire a local charter such as Outrageous Fishing. And while you´re out here, You may even be lucky enough to spot some dolphins or whales as you cast your line!

Due to the many aspects of traveling, there is always a chance that you will feel crowded whether you are traveling domestically or abroad. But there are methods to lessen this kind of stress, and one of them can be to hire a private Bristol Airport to Cardiff Taxi service before you go for your vacation or business trip. This article will provide you with all the information you need to know about this service and its benefits, demonstrating why using a cab is the best alternative while going to the airport.

Advantages of using a service of ‎Bristol Airport to Cardiff Taxi

Benefit no 1: Pick you up and drop-off at the precise moment

Taxis at Bristol Airport can pick you up at the precise moment or drop you off at the appropriate check-in gateways because they are familiar with all three terminals. The native drivers are familiar with the town and its environs. And the automobile always provides you with a comfortable and laid-back experience. People typically arrive at Bristol Airport for local events, and it's comforting to know that your cab is waiting for you right outside. In addition to being far less noisy and comfier than a regular bus ride, they are also more transparent and comfortable than a bus, practice, or coach.

Benefit no 2: Reducing enough of your stress

The main benefit of utilizing an airport transportation service is stress reduction. Traveling to a strange country may often cause a great deal of stress and anxiety, but hiring a transfer service can significantly lower this. Arriving at the airport and grabbing a cab in a strange place can be problematic for a variety of reasons, including not knowing the area well, getting ripped off by locals, utilizing a foreign vehicle, and more. You can count on a more stress-free, comfortable, and secure ride when you use an airport transportation service.

Benefit no 3: Comfortable experience with Bristol Taxi

It can be nerve-wracking to navigate through unfamiliar areas, and many people worry about finding a taxi when they get there. However, if you reserve a transfer service in advance, you will undoubtedly have a first-rate and professional travel experience. These services use skilled and knowledgeable drivers who can establish a good rapport with their customers and ensure their comfort while traveling. Hiring such Bristol taxi services also gives you access to their expertise in nearby tourist spots, which you can see en-route to your destination.

Benefit no 4: Dependability and safety at a higher level

Using public transit raises the possibility of misplacing valuables, including cell phones, passports, and luggage, among other items. You are advised to use this service because an occurrence of this nature could ruin your entire trip. This might soothe your concerns about your luggage and guarantee that it is safe in the transport vehicle. Using public transportation when traveling to a new country can make you feel more anxious because you'll be among strangers, and there's a greater chance of theft. Additionally, a customer has the choice of selecting the vehicle that best suits their demands for travel.

Conclusion

By making reservations in advance, a Bristol Airport taxi may guarantee that you will have a pleasant vacation and, more significantly, that you won't encounter any of the inconveniences that can make traveling unpleasant.

Krabi is a beautiful region in southern Thailand. It has azure oceans, impressive karst peaks, many hidden spots, and enough islands to occupy you for weeks. As well as being the setting for several well-known Hollywood films, this is one of the liveliest tourist spots in Thailand. Whatever your preference, the Krabi region is an ideal Thailand travel guide for a digital nomad seeking a mix of beach and mountain living, a budget-friendly base, and an abundance of outdoor activities right at your doorstep.

Coffee shops in Krabi, perfect for digital nomads

As we all know, it is more complicated to find decent cafes to work at worldwide. But there are a few good sites in Krabi. Not only do I have a few choices, including coworking spaces, but there are hundreds more. The charming Zoo Café is the perfect place to spend the day in Krabi town. The food is more expensive than in other areas, but the wifi and coffee are good. For another Krabi town spot with tasty desserts and slightly pricier food (but worth it with great sitting and wifi), check out Koko Nest Coffee!

Perfect co-working spaces in Krabi for digital nomads

Suitable coworking spaces include Phansa Space and KoHub. Two can be found on the island of Koh Lanta; the first is near Ao Nang. When satisfied with the home and cafe wifi, I last utilised either of these. Learn more about it by checking out Thailand online travel guide.

Kayaking and krabi beaches you should be visiting

Kayak out from the main beach area, Ao Nang, for a relaxing day. Look closely at the massive karst mountains surrounding you as you kayak around them. Railay and Tonsai can be seen by paddling around the giant boulders on your left. Hire a scooter or embark on a guided tour to reach Ao Thalane, another stunning kayaking destination.

Tonsai and Railay are two additional beautiful beach destinations. Although they are not secret, they are truly remarkable. Tonsai is where I feel most at home. There is a happy hippy culture there, and rock climbers come from all over to grab the limestone and enjoy the breathtaking views from the top. Two stunning must-see locations in Railay are the Phrang Cave beach and the lagoon. Each location also has gorgeous beaches. Hop on the scooter and cruise around to find some more unique beaches. The beaches near Klong Muang and Tup Keak are less crowded and milder. An abundance of breathtaking beaches awaits you in Krabi.

How is nightlife in Krabi?

Krabi Town's nightlife is relatively low-key for remote working in Krabi, with just a handful of bars and several laid-back reggae joints. Visit Ao Nang if you're looking for a more exciting atmosphere. Go to Koh Phi Phi for a quick weekend getaway and party all night long if you're in the mood. When you're in that section of Krabi province, you should check out Long Beach on Koh Lanta. You'll find plenty of activities around. There is a wide variety of things to do in this area, including visiting temples, hot springs, waterfalls, and national parks. Krabi Airport is conveniently located and offers flights to almost every destination in Southeast Asia and Europe, so you can easily escape when needed.

The cold and dry season, which starts in November and continues until early April, is the ideal time to visit Thailand, when temperatures vary from 29 to 34 degrees Celsius. The weather varies from place to region, yet you can still plan Thailand travel guide whenever you like. The southern region's eastern and western coasts have very different climates. Diving and snorkelling are most popular in the winter, so the west coast is the best place to go if you want to partake in any of these pastimes. You may enjoy mild, pleasant weather on the eastern coast of Thailand for most of the year. January and February get the fewest rain showers, while November sees the heaviest downpours.

Vacationing in Thailand in February

While parts of eastern Thailand may get a few rains at the start of the month, most of the country may expect hot and dry weather. It begins to warm up even in the north, where mornings might be brisk. The Chiang Mai Flower Festival is held on the first weekend of February. A three-day event is held at the end of the "cool season." Thus, the event features a colourful parade and displays of chrysanthemums and the Damask Rose, a unique variety of roses found only in Chiang Mai. Learn more about it by checking out Thailand online travel guide.

The Chinese New Year, when exactly this occurs, subject to change. Although this is not a national holiday! It is celebrated nationwide, especially in Bangkok's Chinatown with its vibrant red decorations, thrilling dragon parades, firecrackers, and street dance. Every year, from June to October, Thailand experiences its rainy season, which I do my best to avoid whenever possible. Not to mention that Songkran occurs amid a sweltering month (April). Despite the milder weather, many cities have serious pollution issues in January and February.

In Thailand, what month experiences the highest temperatures?

Thailand usually experiences its hottest months in April and May. The reason behind this is that although winter's cooler weather has passed, summer showers have not yet begun to fall. Temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius are typical during this time of year, especially in northern Thailand and the Isaan region.

Conclusion

The best time to visit Thailand is whenever it is most convenient for you to do so. In contrast to those in countries like India, Thai monsoons do not persist over long periods. Although there are a handful of outliers, most crowds are relatively thin and hardly cause trouble. In contrast, I have highlighted a handful of my favorite months and explained my reasoning behind my selections.

If you have any preconceived notions about remote working in Krabi, this will help you confirm or refute them. If you want to make the most of your time in Thailand, it doesn't matter when you arrive; what matters is seeing the sights and experiencing the local culture, regardless of where you plan to go or whether you think you'll be returning.

Amsterdam is most known for its Red Light District. Visitors have come to appreciate that it offers much more than what initially appears. There are several art museums, lovely parks, great outdoor cafes, historical sites, and people who adore living here. Still, is little doubt that this city ranks among the world’s most picturesque. Nothing beats leisurely cruising along the canals or reading an excellent book at Vondelpark on a bright day. Let’s highlight important things to know before planning guided tours in Amsterdam.

City of Amsterdam does not operate around the cloc

Business hours in Amsterdam are incredibly consistent. Most stores are open from 10 am to 6 pm, with supermarkets opening at 8 pm. Grocery stores and shops are closed on Sundays, except in popular tourist spots like Nieuwendijk and Kalverstraat. Bars and clubs stay open far later, until three or four in the morning. And coffee shops typically open around midnight.

Reserve lodging and dining in advance

Also, book your hotel room at least four months before your vacation, preferably in the summer or on a weekend. You should try to reserve a table at your must-eat restaurant at least two weeks in advance.

Utilize both of the locks with bikes

A standard mode of transportation in Amsterdam is the bicycle. It is recommended to utilize both of the locks that are provided with most rental bikes. Amsterdam bike thieves are said to be highly skilled. Put one lock on the front wheel (connected to the bike frame) and one on the back (ideally fastened to a post, bike rack, or anything else mounted to the ground).

Always wear multiple garments

Amsterdam is a city where practical clothes are essential. People here dress cool but casually, like in jeans and beautiful shoes or boots. They mix and match clothes because the weather can change at any moment. Except for winter, when heavy coats and other warm clothing are required, any season calls for a lightweight windcheater jacket or trench coat.

Show some street manners

The Dutch government is contemplating measures to reduce the impact of noisy tourists. One must act responsibly while navigating city streets to evade judgmental glances and embarrassing discussions. Locals in Amsterdam think it's rude and against the law to smoke pot or drink alcohol in public. It is also illegal to photograph sex workers in the Red Light District.

Be cautious of pickpockets

Particularly at popular tourist spots and squares, the densely populated central business district of Amsterdam is a breeding ground for pickpockets. This is because of the high volume of foot traffic and, more often than not, intoxicated individuals. Keep your wits about you, and only carry some important papers and valuables.

Be cautious of bicyclists and the bike lanes

People on bikes in Amsterdam take their sport very seriously. If you dare to step into a bike lane, you might provoke an angry resident who rides a motorcycle. Bicycles may be silent, but the consequences of an accident can be devastating for both pedestrians and bikers. Therefore, it's important to always check both ways before crossing the street.

When you should plan a trip to Morocco?

March through May and October through November are prime travel dates for Morocco. Because of the generally more excellent weather, many people go from city to village during these months. Due to the low travel season, February is also a fantastic month. Although the Sahara is experiencing frigid temperatures, this is a rare opportunity to see snow on mountaintops. To get the most bangs for your buck, avoid traveling in June, July, and August. In these months, prices tend to spike while services stay the same. Late spring and early fall are great times to visit Morocco. Many services will be closed or have reduced hours during Ramadan, so check the dates before you go.

How many days you should spend in Morocco?

The best amount of time to spend during private Morocco tours varies from 10 to 14 days, depending on your desired level of exploration of this fascinating nation. Make your way from Casablanca to Rabat and then Fes. Along the way, stop in Marrakech for a couple of nights to relax and take in the sights of the north and the stunning desert vistas of Erfoud and Merzouga. In ten to fourteen days, you can explore the various souks and blue cities. You can go on camel rides, relax on peaceful beaches, and even venture beyond the desert towns to the world-famous Sahara dunes.

Is Morocco best for a family vacation?

Bringing the kids to Morocco is a fantastic idea. Families can enjoy a wide variety of thrilling things. This includes walking through the captivating blue city of Chefchaouen, trekking in the High Atlas Mountains, and riding camels in the desert near Merzouga. In Marrakech, try your hand at a cooking class; in Essaouira, relax on the beach. As a family, experience the enchantment of Morocco by visiting local eateries and souks. Make sure you leave enough time to fully explore each location before moving on to the next adventure by planning your experience based on the distances traveled between each.

What is the Moroccan currency?

The Moroccan dirham (DH) is Morocco's official currency. However, both euros and dollars are accepted nationwide. In bigger towns and areas frequented custom tours of Morocco, many companies accept major credit cards like Visa and MasterCard. This includes lodging establishments, restaurants, and souvenir shops. Amsterdam, sometimes called the Venice of the North, is a lovely location to visit. It is a stunning city that has a rich history and a fantastic amount of culture. Amsterdam is a city filled with canals, creating an incredibly tranquil and relaxed ambiance no matter where you are in the city. It is simple to rent a boat and sail around the city while taking in the sights, or one might sit in a cafe and watch the river traffic pass by. There are many reasons to go to the capital of the Netherlands, such as the historic building from the 16th century, and the lovely canals. Do you still need convincing? Look at these below arguments in favor of why everyone should plan guided tours in Amsterdam at least once.

Prestigious museums and galleries

Well, Amsterdam is so steeped in history. It should come as no surprise that it is home to some of Europe's most prestigious museums and galleries. Among these are the world-famous Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum in Museum Square. This collection contains approximately 200 paintings, 500 drawings, and letters from Van Gogh, making it the most extensive collection of the artist's oeuvre anywhere in the world. It is most certainly worth a visit.

The city is home to 165 canals

We all know that Amsterdam is referred to as the "Venice of the North". The city is home to 165 canals stretching for more than 60 miles (with 1281 bridges, which is three times the number of bridges Venice has!). Well, the canal ring was constructed during the 17th century when Amsterdam was still a little fishing town. In 2010, it was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is essential to take a canal tour around Amsterdam, whether you want to do it on a regular canal cruise or a private boat.

Beer

Beer enthusiasts will not be let down by the Netherlands, which happens to be the country that exports the most beer globally. Heineken Experience is an interactive tour inside the former brewery. Here the visitors to Amsterdam will have the opportunity to learn everything about the world-famous lager of the same name.

Catching outclass beauty of flowers

Because tulips are the national flower of the Netherlands, you may anticipate seeing them all around the city. Visit Keukenhof, a well-known flower exhibit between March and May that is only thirty minutes away from the city. For something closer, the yearly tulip exhibition on Tulip Island in Vondelpark comes from July to September. In conclusion, a visit to the Bloemenmarkt, a floating flower market on the canal during the entire year, becomes an absolute necessity.

Taking a bike tour of the city

The city of Amsterdam is an excellent fan of bicycles. Renting a bike is the only option available to you if you want to experience the city as a native resident. You have access to many bike rental providers that are simple to locate and reasonably priced. Taking a bike tour of the city is another option to consider if you want to add structure to your bike exploration plans.

A city full of ancient sites, coffee shops, streets with an air of mystery, and that iconic Red Light window! In addition to its rich history and beautiful art, the city's diverse cuisine, lively nightlife, and numerous drinking establishments allow visitors to "taste" the culture.

Any time of year is perfect for a visit to Amsterdam. On the other hand, the months of May through August see the most visitors due to the pleasant weather. Amsterdam has beautiful weather from May to August. It may get chilly at night, so bring light sweaters. Many visitors travel to the city in May for the spring Tulip Festival, when the city's stunning tulips are in full bloom. It would help if you also used this time to bike throughout the city, as it is an unforgettable experience. Two of Amsterdam's most beloved summer festivals, Open Garden Days and Roots Festival, are happening in June. Hotels and plane tickets are most expensive in Amsterdam between May and August, so plan if you want to go during that time.

The best times to visit Amsterdam in the off-season are September to November and March to April. During these months, you can get more affordable hotel prices and fewer tourists at Amsterdam's famous sites. But November is when many visitors flock to Amsterdam for the film festival. With the arrival of spring in March comes the opening of Keukenhof, the world's most extensive flower garden, in the third week of March. The winter months in Amsterdam are December through February. In addition, these months see snowfall, and with any luck, the snow will harden to a skating-worthy consistency. Lots of wool and layers will keep you warm, so bring plenty.

Preparing for the crowds is a significant aspect of any Walt Disney World vacation. I've found this to be more challenging over the past few years. To keep people coming and prevent pauses in attendance, Disney has done their research and created special holiday activities, discount incentives, and unique festivals to spread out the crowds. Disney World Crowd Calendar is helpful for this purpose. Disney World specialists do their best to foretell when the parks will be busiest so people can plan accordingly. However, how accurate are the crowd calendars at Disney World?

How reliable are the Crowd Calendars at Disney World?

You can learn a lot about what's going on at Disney World from the crowd calendars. Indeed, crowd calendars can assist you in organizing your trip. However, keep in mind that they are only predictions. These forecasts are derived from regular monthly patterns, school calendars, and upcoming events. But other things, including weather, travel advisories, and pandemics, are beyond their prediction capabilities. Is it safe to use Disney World crowd calendars when making travel plans? Maybe yes! You might avoid the insane crowds caused by a significant event if you ask them to help you plan your visit. Just remember that Disney Crowd Calendar predictions can only be accurate up to a point.

Advices to follow for planning a trip to Disney World

The best time to visit in the hopes of avoiding the crowds is after Labor Day if at all possible. Keep looking for sales. It is still possible to apply discounts even after you have made a reservation. Crowds form quickly in the pools. Think about going first thing in the morning to avoid the crowds. To avoid the worst crowds, go to the Food & Wine Festival during the week if you can. Remember to bring the ponchos! We always leave the park with trusty ponchos, mini umbrellas, and spare socks. Indeed, in September in Florida, we can get some rain. Drink plenty of water. To combat the heat, we bring refillable water bottles. Request a cup of ice water; many fast food joints will provide it for free. Be sure you get your tickets for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in advance if you plan on attending. No matter how slow it is at the beginning of the year, dates still sell out.

Get there early to enjoy the beauty of parks

To avoid the crowds within Disney World Crowd Calendar 2024, you must get to the parks early. Having visited in April this year, I can attest that Disney frequently grants early park admission. Soarin', Test Track, and other popular rides in Future World (e.g., Epcot's Soarin') might be manageable if you visit Epcot first thing in the morning. You can then outpace them on the way back to World Showcase when the park is busier, as they only start at the entrance. The same holds for pretty much every Disney World theme park. Getting there early, seeing the most famous sights, and then moving on to the less popular or farther away ones are a reliable way to have a good day.
