"The respected online Europe´s Best Destinations just released its best in Europe ranking for 2026, based on a vote from readers worldwide, although the site´s editor chooses the shortlist. And I can´t say I´m surprised that Madrid took first place,…"
"It's even more amazing when you take into account that this doesn´t even count workers coming in from other islands, especially St. Martin, Anguilla's population is only 15,000. Yes, you read that correctly."

Ed, I personally am a fiddler and am going to attend several fiddle camps this summer (New York City and also Upstate New York at Ashokan.org, a Western Swing Week and a Southern Music Week). I love music in New Orleans, and I go to jazz clubs and classical music concerts. I have several degrees in music, and also play the piano and the saxophone and flute in a community band in my neighborhood of Tribeca, the Tribattery Pops. I used to be a public school music teacher in New York. You asked about my music interests, which are eclectic. How about you?

Hello Ed, thank you for the warm welcome! No, no child here, and I am not THAT young :). The picture appeared automatically once I joined via my google account! I am looking forward to being a member of Tripatini and interacting with all you interesting people.
Hi Ed: Just returned from Thailand a couple of weeks ago on my way back from Burma. One of my kids is in college there until May so I couldn't really justify returning so soon. I'll be in Germany however. Hope I'll see you there.
Best, Bob
