Also out on the Bydøy peninsula, the Kon-Tiki Museum is dedicated to the voyages of Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl, who capitvated the world in the 1940s and 1950s with voyages in crafts such as this, the Kon-Tiki. Absolutely captivating!
