The Hamptons Paddle & Party for Pink is an annual two-part event benefiting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). The morning Paddle Board Race is a multi-skill level, WPA sanctioned points race that attracts hundreds of paddlers and spectators. Created in 2012 by BCRF Board Member Maria Baum, her husband Larry and Lisa and Richard Perry, the very first event took place at the Perry's own Hampton's residence.

13th Annual Taste of Hope is the American Cancer Society’s signature culinary, wine, and spirits event, featuring some of New York’s most popular restaurants and beverage vendors. Guests enjoy a walk-around tasting where they can sample signature dishes, premier wines, and spirits. Now in its 13th year, the event has raised over $1.8 Million to support the American Cancer Society’s mission and goal of eliminating cancer as a major health problem.

By mutual consent, Cricket South Africa (CSA) and Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) agreed to leave a Test and cover five ODIs by considering the World Cup to be started next year.
The tour of South Africa to Sri Lanka which gets in July underway was supposed to have only three Tests, but both cricket boards have mutually agreed to play ODIs and one-off T20 Cricket.
Ashley de Silva, SLC CEO said, “It was done by considering next year’s World Cup. In the next ten months, we have to play Test cricket a lot.
