It was fantastic weather on the Everest base camp trek in 2012 autumn. We really enjoyed the views of the Everest Himalayas. There were lots of helicopters on their helicopter tour and saw some people returning from Gorakshep on a helicopter direct after walking from Lukla to the Everest base camp and met some adventure trekkers going over Cho La pass to visit Gokyo lakes and the Gokyo Ri.
