Evening view from the Gokyo Ri with moonlight. The Gokyo Ri is probably one of the best hill stations in the Everest region which provides stunning mountain views, massive glaciers, and tranquil lakes. It takes around 2 hours of walking from the lodge to reach the top. You will have an opportunity to climb this viewpoint during the Everest base camp Gokyo Lakes trek, Gokyo Lakes trek, Everest high passes trek and Renjo La passes trek.
The EBc Gokyo lakes trek is a 14-day mountain journey from Kathmandu to Kathmandu which goes through a high pass Cho La. If you have two more days with the Everest base camp trekking itinerary, Going over the Cho La pass is highly suggested.
