The best known of the country's 45 strands stretches along two miles of the southwest coast some six miles south of capital St. George's (reachable by water taxi as well as driving). There are plenty of water sports rentals and outfitters, as well as a handicrafts/local products market and nearby hotels, restaurants, and bars.
