Though it´s named after its supposedly most famous owner, the 11th-century High King of Ireland, this handsome, inspiring 29-string instrument is actually thought to have been made in the 15th century. Regardless, it´s considered a national symbol and appears on the country´s coat of arms (as well as the trademark of Guinness Brewery and alluded to in the logo of Ryanair).
