Earlier this month we had an interesting visit to Berggasse 19 in the Alsergrund district, where the good doctor worked and lived with his family from 1891 till 1938, when they fled Nazi-annexed Austria and moved to London. It was made a museumin 1971, renovated/expanded in 2020, and most of the rooms are given over to exhibits about Freud and psychoanalysis - this waiting room is the only corner with much of any original decor and ambience.
