The brainchild of painter/architect Friedenreich Hundertwasser is an ¨Expressionist¨ apartment block in Vienna´s Landstrasse district was completed in 1985 and is a landmark which is  firmly on the tourist track, with a café open to visitors (though it was closed when I visited in early August ´23) and a little complex of shops/restaurants across the street which caters to them. It´s definitely more ¨fun¨ than most modern architecture!
