The Charming Streets of East Tokyo – the City's Downtown Shitamachi district – encompassing Asakusa and Tokyo Skytree Town® -- will be illuminated with the gentle glow of bamboo lantern lights.

Tobu Railway Group will host the "Take-Akari" Bamboo Lantern Festival in East Tokyo -- the area between Tokyo Skytree Town and Asakusa, from November 7, 2025, to January 31, 2026. This charming festival of traditional lights was launched at Ushijima Shrine in 2022.
