This Special Night Adventure Train, which has been Operating on Select Summer and Autumn dates since 1987, is the Perfect Way to Access Early-Morning-Magnificently-Misty-and Magical Hiking in Oze, a National Park in Japan's Tohoku region.

Tobu Railway announces that in late summer/early autumn 2024, it is once again, operating its special "Oze Night Train 23:45." The train will run on the following dates:

  • Fridays - August 16 & 23, September 6, 13, 20, 27, and October 11 & 18, 2024
  • Saturdays - Augus

The New Six-Car Trains will Operate on the Route between Asakusa, Tokyo and Nikko & Kinugawa Onsen in Tochigi Prefecture. They will Now Include Travelers' Choice Seating Options, such as the "Cockpit Suite," Resembling Private Jet Seating, and the "Cockpit Lounge," Featuring a Relaxing Café Counter Depicting Nikko Motifs. Once in Nikko, Travelers Can Continue Beyond the World Heritage Area to Enjoy Outdoor Activities on Lake Chuzenji and throughout the Picturesque Oku-Nikko Region.

In Japan's Nikko and Kinugawa-onsen areas, 2 Hours North of Tokyo along the Tobu Railway Nikko and Kinugawa Lines, Special Moon-Viewing Festivities with Autumn Light-ups will be held from September to November.

There is a Japanese expression Aki no Yonaga, which literally means "long autumn night." This year, despite Covid-19, two popular, annual, celebratory light-up events, illuminating the autumn night, will be held in the Nikko-Kinugawa area, along Tobu Railway's Nikko and Kinugawa Lines.
