The Nagarkot Changunarayan hike descends from Nagarkot (elevation 2,175 m) through forests and villages to Changunarayan (elevation 1,400 m), which is the most popular day hike around Kathmandu. It's mostly downhill on the way to Changunarayan. You see magnificent high mountains, charming landscapes, valleys, green hills, and more with unblocked sunrise and sunset from Nagarkot, from where the hike begins.
