Elyse, I'm about 100 miles from my notes tonight, but there is one part of your assignment(s) that I could help you with: a hotel alternative to the KD. The hotel I'm thinking of is a very new, stylish, kosher boutique hotel with (I think) a better location as well as a more youthful vibe and lower rates. Do you want me to look that up for you?

Thank you for the interest. I'll have to place the item with someone with a budget for writers, the traveling etc..involved expenses I need to recoup. Hope that's understandable. I have a basement full of bylines.
Sounds like a great mag, can't wait to pick it up on th newstand. Good luck with it all..MF
Hi Elyse, I just joined this group as well! Reading your comments...so much I agree with. I'm a freelance writer based in NYC with background in food/wine/products. I was at Food & Wine magazine for 12 years.
I just made a visit to the Storehouse a museum/ part of the brewery of Guinness which is celebrating its 250th anniversary. I got to taste a new cocktail being introduced next week at Ashford Castle called Alfred's Bellini (named after company founder Alfred Guinness), made with champagne and Guinness which was delicious. Would something on this be of interest to HotMixology?
