  a little late in responding, but we enjoyed liverpool (both the city and visiting a daughter and granddaughter). i did manage to nail down a liverpool-based food and travel story, which ran last week in the boston globe:

  Hi David, Things in the Biggest Little are great except for the weather at the moment. I mean, we have the nation's highest unemployment rate and the usual incompetent government, but nobody's tried to take away our Del's or the PawSox yet, so it's all good. :-) How are you?

  Hi Dave, hope your doing well! Yes.. I've been relocated for the company to NJ... Of coarse I'm missing my over 40 beaches, 60 dive sites and the warm weather.. ;)
  I'm still new at this so I'm browsing around from time to time. I miss Miami beach and Curaçao. Yes we should meetup. When are you coming to the North East?

  Hi David, many thanks for featuring my book in the new (first) Newsletter. What a nice surprise! In reading my profile, I notice that I'm a "glove-trotting octogenarian"--could have fooled me, since my collection of gloves is long gone. And I pride myself on my nit-picking editorial skills!
