  Horrified but not terribly surprised to read your email to Continental. Is there no end to this kind of thing, or will the pendulum once again start swinging back at some point?   What I love about specializing in the Mediterranean is how everything ties into everything else, every story can be tracked back to another story in another country. Every day is a new discovery. My latest little anecdote - the city of Venice, probably named so because it was a Phoenician colony. Phoenician = Venetian.
