I can so relate to this meme, having recently crossed a couple of destinations off my list for the moment for various reasons. And even for a relatively uncontroversial one - Thailand - catastrophe puts in an appearance. We´re traveling there with friends who just booked their flights on Riyadh Air connecting through Riyadh - and wouldn´t you know, the Houthis in Yemen immediately went and bombed the airport there not once but twice. So now they´re on tenterhooks - will things calm down by the time they leave or will they lose their money? Not funny at all, actually. So I´ve been looking at flights that connext anywhere except the Middle East (if you´re curious, we ended up on China Eastern Airlines via Shanghai).
