The soaring Tránsito Synagogue of Toledo, Spain

Built in the 14th century in ancient city which was the Iberia Peninsula's leading center of Jewry (counting no fewer than ten synagogues and five Talmudic schools), the now deconsecrated  Sinagoga del Tránsito includes in addition to soaring, elaborately carved walls and celiing, the fascinating Sephardic Museum.
