I´ve been to Madrid´s Reina Sofía museum to see Picasso´s huge painting "Guernica" two or three times, and it´s an amazing experience each time. Right now there´s a movement by the Basques - since the painting is about the horrific Luftwaffe bombing of the town in 1937 on behalf of the forces of Francisco Franco during the Spanish Civil War - to have the painting relocated to the Guggenheim in Bilbao, but it´s very unlikely to happen.
