There's no shortage of beaches along Qatar's more than 560 kilometers of shoreline, and this one a half hour south of Doha is touted as one of the most appealing - especially for families - with clear, shallow waters as well as plenty of options for food, drink, and other beach activities.

And one thing to keep in mind when it comes to beaches here is that on public strands, dress codes are much more conservative than on private resort beaches - meaning no bikinis for women nor skimpy Speedo-type swimsuits for men. So to prevent misunderstandings, do your research before visiting!
