Officially called Via Benedetto Croce, this relatively narrow street runs just over a mile through the heart of the old quarter and takes you past many of its churches (including the Duomo, the city cathedral), palazzi, piazze, markets, and other sites of interest such as Napoli Sotterranea (the underground catacombs), along with various food shops and eateries.
