Padding in makoros on Botswana's Okavango Delta

This swampy inland delta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site covering more than 2,300 square miles is Botswana's premier visitor attractions, including the Moremi Game Reserve. A favorite (and distinctive) way of getting around here is via wooden dugout canoes called makoros.
