Dominica's capital Roseau

On the southern west coast, with a population just under 15,000, it's a charming, laid back town full of typical West Indian architecture as well as some left over from the French and British colonial periods. Highlights for visitors include the 19th-century neo-Gothic/Romanesque St. Patrick's Cathedral, the Dominica Museum, and the open-air Old Market of Roseau.
