One of the original 13 British colonies which first formed the United States, North Carolina is home to plenty of historic and cultural sites but also some breathtaking natural beauty, including national and state parks, and dozens of beaches along some 300 miles of coastline. Gorgeous barrier islands; gospel music; Piedmont blues music; two types of tasty barbecue; Cherokee Indian culture; roadside attractions (like the world's largest working frying pan) - there's plenty of cool stuff to…

In this regard, I am thinking to get a travel insurance plan for the entire family, but I am not sure either it would include a car breakdown or not. When I did an online search, then I…
Read more…Visiting the United States, under 21, and looking to rent a car or other vehible? Usually no problem, as the age for rental is generally 18. In LA a friend and I rented a Chrysler 200 with Alamo, through uscarhire.co.uk. Great rental experience and I would recommend this company to anyone. As a matter of fact, I'll be renting with them again on my trip to LA next summer!
Last year, Boyfriend and I went on a trip to the Basque Country, we rented a car with two different companies. Curious which experience was better? Check it out here !

Now on our blog: why might parking in Lisbon, Portugal require a "survival guide"?
1. Use Priceline.
2. Know how much insurance you need or don't need.
3. Watch out for those little "extras."
4. Avoid airport rentals if at all possible.
5. Watch out for the fine print.
