Water buffalo in Kissama National Park

North of Luanda along the Atlantic coast, Angola's only currently functioning wildlife park was famed as the continent's single largest concentration of water buffalo, but poaching during the quarter-century-long civil war devastated animal populations here. In recent years, however,  it's been brought back from the brink. Read about the park and some of its story in my post Kissama National Park, a Phoenix of Angola.
