In honor of February’s Black History Month in the USA, MSN’s Travel Noire channel put together a list of six sub-Saharan landmarks of remarkable black African achievements - and thought the churches of Lalibela are of course Ethiopia’s most famous claim to fame, this pieces cites the Fasil Ghebbi, the fortress-palace of 17th-century Emperor Fasilides in the city of Gondar, in the north of the country an hour-and-a-half flight from Addis Ababa.
