  • So true, Vinnie. But I think what may be at work here is that it's easier and somehow feels more "right" to people to be afraid of the obvious things, like everyone instinctually was back in the cave days.
  • People in our state are afraid of the wrong things. Aligators, panthers. Try driving off when a vulture just ate your tires.
    Up north in Jersey where I come from, people are afraid of bears, but they almost never attack people. Deer kill people. Car accidents, lymes disease, and then they eat your shrubs.
