New York, The City That Never Sleeps

New York is known by many nicknames such as "Gotham", or "the Big Apple" which is probably the most popular but I always call it, The City That Never Sleeps.

New York is divided into five boroughs namely, Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Staten Island, and of course my favorite Manhattan! Manhattan is where you can find the most popular attractions of the city, the Empire State Building, Times Square, Central Park, and Grand Central Terminal. If you are like Lara Jean in "To All The Boys I Love Before" who loves libraries and everything about schools, NYU might be the place for you.

It might be cliche to say that New York is "the city that never sleeps" but literally New York never sleeps. There's just so much to do in the city at night whether you want a concert, karaoke, live dancing, and more. If you have sleep issues, you probably won't want to come to New York, pun intended.

It's no wonder that New York has been a setting for movies, and TV series too many times as it is rich in culture and probably the most ethnically diverse city. It has the highest total Asian population of any U.S. city proper according to Wikipedia. There are more Chinese people live in New York City than any other city outside of Asia and there are more Jewish people live there than any other city outside of Israel.

When there is a diverse culture, there are lots of cuisines to try which is what I love about the city the most. Well, they say when it comes to food in New York it will still come down to these three: pizza, pretzels, and pastrami. But if you are like me who wants to try various food from different cultures all over the world, New York City is the place to be.
