Down in the Tamil Nadu complex of Mahabalipuram, a UNESCO World Heritage collection of 7th- and 8th-century Hindu monuments, this monolithic granite boulder whose name means “Stone of The Sky God“ is six meters (20 feet) high and five meters (16 ft. wide) and weighs around 250 tons.
