Everest Base Camp Trekking is one of the most popular and best trekking routes in Nepal, and arguably one of the finest in the world. The trek typically starts with a 30-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. However, during peak trekking seasons such as October and November, flights often operate from Ramchhap (Manthali) Airport, which requires a 4-hour drive from Kathmandu, followed by a 20-minute flight to Lukla.
This trek leads to the base of Mount Everest, the tallest mountain in the world.
