Badrinath is one of the most sacred pilgrimage places in India and an important part of the Char Dham Yatra. Located in the beautiful mountains of Uttarakhand, the Badrinath Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and attracts thousands of devotees every year. Apart from the main temple, there are five holy temples known as Panch Badri. These include Yogdhyan Badri, Bhavishya Badri, Vriddha Badri, Adi Badri, and the main Badrinath Temple.

Planning the Char Dham Yatra in 2026 requires careful preparation to ensure a smooth and spiritually fulfilling journey. The sacred pilgrimage covers four holy shrines- Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, located in the Himalayan region of Uttarakhand. The yatra usually begins in late April or early May and continues till October, depending on weather conditions. Choosing the right travel window, preferably May–June or September, helps avoid harsh weather and heavy crowds.
