Mount Everest is located in the Khumbu Everest Himalaya, which is also known as the Mahalangur Himalayan range. Mount Everest is bordering between Nepal and Tibet (China), but the summit of this world’s highest mountain is in Nepal. It has two different base camps, known as the north base camp and the south base camp. The north is in Tibet, and the south is in Nepal.
There are thousands of people visiting these Everest Base Camps, but you can just trek to the Nepalese side. Hundreds of climbers get permits to climb this world’s most famous mountain every year (mostly in the spring).
There are numerous trekking routes in the Everest region, from which you can see magnificent views of Mount Everest and its surrounding peaks. Not just pristine mountains, you will also see captivating landscapes, charming valleys, green hills, wildlife, rivers, waterfalls, and more natural attractions with cultural monuments in the Khumbu Region.
If you are looking for an adventure trekking trail in the Everest Himalayas, you can go for Everest High Passes, Cho La Pass, or Renjo La Pass Treks. You must have lots of physical training or hiking experience for these trekking routes.
The Everest Base Camp Trek, Helicopter Return Trekking from Gorakshep after visiting the Base Camp and Kala Patthar, and Gokyo Lakes Treks are the moderate-level walking trips in the Khumbu Everest Region, and the shortest walking journey in the Himalayas is the Everest View Trek.
You can also reach the Everest Base Camp and see a magnificent mountain range luxuriously. The Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour is the quickest way to explore the beautiful Everest Himalayas and reach very close to the world’s tallest mountain from Kathmandu.
September to November in autumn and March to May in spring are the best times to travel to the Everest region. However, December offers the best views in the Everest Himalayas from morning to evening, but it will be freezing in December.
The Everest Region is a well-managed trekking area, so you have lodges to stay at every stop. Also, you do not have to stay with local foods all the time, so you have a food menu and can choose different dishes for your regular meal during the trek.
