Everest Base Camp Trek for Nearest View of the World's Highest Mountain

Every mountain and adventure lover must have a dream to reach Everest Base Camp and see the world’s highest mountain from a close distance at least once in their life. More than 40000 adventure trekkers walk each year in this mountain destination. Besides trekkers, a few hundred climbers climb this tallest mountain every year, and luxury travelers are traveling to the Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar.

There are different trekking trails in the Everest Region that take you to the Everest Base Camp, some without taking you to the Base Camp, and offer pristine views of natural and cultural attractions. The Everest Base Camp Trek, Everest Three High Passes Trek, Cho La Pass Trek, and Helicopter Return Everest Base Camp Trek bring you to the foot of the world’s highest mountain from Kathmandu.

Besides the above-mentioned trekking trails, Gokyo Lakes Trek, Renjo La Pass Trek, and Everest View Trek don’t go to the Everest Base Camp but offer magnificent mountain views and other natural and cultural attractions. Besides the trekking trips, you can also reach Everest Base Camp Kala Patthar and see the world’s most famous mountain from a distance in a luxurious way. The Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour is the best option for those who can’t trek in the high altitudes and cold temperatures or lack time for a long mountain trek but love to see Mount Everest and its surrounding high peaks.

Each trekking journey to the Everest Himalayas begins in Lukla after taking a scenic and adventurous flight to Lukla and ends with flying out of Lukla again after completing the trip. However, there are overland routes too, like starting from Jiri after driving in a bus from Kathmandu or from Salleri after driving in a jeep. Overland routes are longer compared to the airways route to trek in the Everest Region.

The autumn season begins in September and lasts until November, and spring starts in March and stays until May. These two seasons are the best times to trek to the Everest Himalayas. However, December is the best month to see the Crystal Mountains from morning to evening, but the temperatures in the mountains will be freezing this month.
