Ideal for both men and women, beginner & advanced surfers, Del Mar Surf Camp offers the best surf vacation experience with a choice of 3 different spectacularly beautiful locations in Costa Rica – a place full of magic beaches and fun waves – a t Hermosa Beach on the Central Pacific Coast, Nosara Beach on the northern Pacific Coast of Guanacaste, or Santa Teresa Beach on the Pacific’s Nicoya Peninsula.
Vacation camp sessions from 5 to 7 days are available from now through August 2012 (check dates). You’ll surf Costa Rica like a local at this 100% authentic Costa Rican surf camp, learning every day from instructors who have surfed these waves their whole lives. All instructors are bilingual, but you’ll be sure to learn a bit of Spanish during your week. Del Mar guarantees a ratio of no more than 2 students per instructor to ensure quality training and maximum waves. For beginners and advanced surfers alike, your surf lessons will always be accompanied by surfing experts certified with Red Cross of Costa Rica in CPR, Water Rescue, ISA and First Aid.
Every day you’ll surf for 2-3 hours, using high quality epoxy long boards from NSP & South Point (soft top boards are also available). Surfing photography is included in your package so you won’t have to worry about remembering the first time you caught a wave! As part of your program, you’ll go on a daily nature walk to enjoy the different sights of Costa Rica and warm up for your daily surf lesson. Best yet, all of your meals are included during the entire camp session! You’ll eat healthy local Costa Rican cuisine, and go out to a different favorite local restaurant for dinner every night – hanging out with the locals at the best spots.

beachfront or close to the beach to ensure you’re always near the surf. Shared room prices are based on double occupancy. Getting there is also taken care of with
airport transport
provided from the closest airport – San Jose’s
Juan Santamaria International Airport for Hermosa and Jaco beaches,
Nosara Airport for Nosara Beach (a local flight), and
Tambor Airport
for Santa Teresa Beach (a local flight).
Adding to the adventure, besides surfing and nature walks, you will select another adventure activity available in your area to do – canopy zipline tour, stand-up paddling tour, sea kayaking, horseback riding tour or ATV tour. At the end of your very active week, Del Mar will pamper you with a complimentary one hour full body massage to rejuvenate your body before heading home.
