You can trek through the Cho La pass to go to the Gokyo Ri and Gokyo lakes after visiting the Everest base camp. The Everest base camp Gokyo lakes trek covers all the beauties of the Everest region, so if you have around 3-4 days more from the base camp trek, doing the Cho La pass trek is highly recommended.
