Mt.Langtang Lirung (9225m) is the highest mountain in the Langtang Himalaya. You can reach very close to this mountain and see the stunning view from Kyanjin Gumba while you are on the Langtang valley trek and the Langtang Gosaikunda trek via Gosaikunda lake. The Langtang valley is a short and easy trek in Nepal, which is the nearest mountain trek from Kathmandu which takes you very close to the high mountains within a few days.
