The Gorakshep is the final destination, where trekkers spend one night after the base camp and before Kalapatthar visits while they are on the Everest base camp, Everest base camp Gokyo lakes, and Everest high passes treks. Some fly back to Kathmandu on a helicopter direct from this place if they are on a helicopter return Everest base camp trek.
