Gorakshep is the final destination of the Everest base camp trek, where the trekkers spend one night after visiting the base camp before they return to Lukla. It takes 2 hours to climb from this place to Kalapatthar from where you can see the nearest view of Everest and 360-degree Everest Himalayan views. You can climb Kala Patthar in the morning or evening for the sunset while you are also on the Everest base camp Gokyo lakes trek and Everest high passes trek. You will fly out from this place on a helicopter direct to Kathmandu after visiting the Kalapatthar if you are on the Everest base camp helicopter return trek.
