The red colour symbolises the blood shed by the brave Egyptians over the years to liberate their country. The white colour symbolises peace. The meaning behind it is the Egyptians are peace makers. The "eagle" is a symbol of the Egyptian government. The black colour symbolises the "black" days the Egyptians have lived through out the ages.
