The trek typically takes 4–5 days to complete, making it a relatively short journey compared to other Himalayan treks.
The highest point of the trek is Poon Hill, at an elevation of 3,210 meters (10,531 feet). It is famous for its breathtaking sunrise views over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Poon Hill Trek Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)
- Arrival and transfer to hotel: Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, and transfer to your hotel.
- Rest and prepare for the trek.
- Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Drive to Pokhara (820m)
- Distance: 200 km (7-8 hours by bus or 25 minutes by flight).
- Activity: Travel to Pokhara by bus or flight. Enjoy the scenic views of the Trishuli River and surrounding mountains.
- Overnight stay in Pokhara.
Day 03: Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Tikhedhunga (1,540m)
- Distance: 1.5 hours drive to Nayapul + 4 hours trek.
- Activity: Drive to Nayapul and begin your trek to Tikhedhunga or Ulleri.

Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani (2,850m)
