It's not every day I get an invitation to a hotel launch party that promises to "evoke everything Miami," so when I heard about Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay's grand re-opening bash last night following a two-year, $2 million renovation to Miami's only marina-front hotel, curiosity got the better of me. As it turned out, "everything Miami" meant live music both pop and classical, ballet, painting, and of course, great food and people-watching.
