Up on a hill overlooking its manicured gardens and the city below, you’ll want to have a look at the 110-year-old sandstone Union Buildings, seat of South Africa's executive branch (and which some might remember from the moving 2009 film Invictus). The statue of the first post-apartheid president Mandela is a favorite spot for selfies/photo ops.
