About an hour away from Tunis, this town with a charming medina and a population of some 98,000 (which quadruples during summer tourist season) is known as "Tunisia's Sant Tropez" because of its stretches of white sands and warm waters. It's great for snorkeling and scuba diving, and with a plethora of other aquatic sports options available as well as hotels/resorts, restaurants, shops, nightlife, and other holiday amenities.
