Everest Base Camp is located on the Khumbu Glacier. The Khumbu Glacier is located on the Nepalese side of Mount Everest, and one of the base camps for climbing Everest (South Base Camp) is located on the glacier. However, there are multiple base camps on both the Nepalese and Tibetan sides of Everest at varying locations and elevations.
