Champadevi Hike is a popular day trip located on the outskirts of Kathmandu. The trailhead starts from the small village of Champadevi. The hike is approximately 5-6 hours roundtrip and covers about 7 km. It ascends from 1,760 m to 2,521 m, so it is a moderately strenuous hike with an elevation gain of around 760 m. The trail passes through lush forests with rhododendron trees and offers great views of the Kathmandu Valley and surrounding Himalayan peaks like Langtang Lirung and Dorje Lakpa.
